I am not meaning to brag when I call this quilt "awesome" it is just that the fabrics and the pattern work so well together that the result is awesome, and it makes me very happy.
I want to chat a bit about the pattern which is from Jenny and is her Urban Abacus pattern. This was so quick to piece together, seriously it was, even with the curves. The extra bonus when you go to piece all the blocks together in rows, there are no pesky corners or points to match up. Very gratifying, and I think the results are well...awesome.
Our weekend at the lake was just the right kind of get away my husband and I needed. We had time with friends, relaxing and a lot of wonderful food. What more could I ask for?
Thanks for visiting, it is appreciated.
